BENEFITING: COLLEGE VISIONS
****GOAL**** You are amazing! Thanks to your generous donations, we have raised more than $4,000 to help low-income and first-generation students on the path to college graduation!
Your contribution ensures College Visions students persist through college and earn a degree. Our goal is to raise $3,000 by September 30. Will you make a gift?
Make your generosity stretch even further! If the goal is met, we (Joseph + Brownsyne) will make a matching gift of $1,000, bringing the total raised to $4,000.
This will forever change the lives of 4 College Visions students. It ensures they don’t just start college, but cross the finish line with a degree.
Do you remember starting college? Finding classrooms. Crazy roommates. Long lines in the bookstore. Moving into your dorm. Unbelievable experiences. Across the US, college students are set to begin the fall semester.
But far too many talented students never graduate. In fact, just 11% of low-income, first-generation students who enroll in college earn a bachelor’s degree within 6 years.
By making a gift to College Visions, you change this. Based in Providence and founded and run by a Brown Alum (Simon Moore, ’00), College Visions is near and dear to our hearts. The organization coaches low-income, first-generation college-bound students to enter, succeed in, and graduate from college. And CV students do just that! They earn bachelor’s degrees at over 5 times the national rate.
By helping us raise $4,000, you empower 4 young people to earn a degree, and build strong futures for themselves and their communities.
$1,000 enables College Visions to support one student through a year of college, including 1-on-1 coaching, assistance maintaining strong financial aid, access to an emergency grant fund, and post-college planning. So join us now and partner with College Visions to forever change students’ lives by enabling them to succeed in college and earn a degree.
