Join us for an evening of poolside fun and learn about Zambia, the Wiphan Schools and 'Walls'.
Walls in the Zambia compounds serve a purpose as they delineate boundaries and protect what is behind them. Especially for schools, walls are imperative. Wiphan (www.wiphan.org) runs such schools in Ndola, Zambia. Without a wall around your school, others simply lay claim to your purchased land and property and take goods that are not secured behind a wall (think wild wild west!). One campus, the Mapalo school, is in serious need of a wall and without struggles to meet the basic needs of the students and the community. The school sits on a large peice of property which has room for a library, kitchen, a garden and a playground. Unfortunately, without a wall to protect such valuable assests, the schools in unable to provide these resources.
Will you consider helping raise money to help these orphans in Zambia by helping to build a wall around the Mapalo School?
