The Woman's Worth Project aims to create a cooperative resale program between female artisans in South Sudan and consumers in the U.S. These South Sudanese women will be paid to make jewelry that represents their struggle as women in some way, which will then be resold via the internet for a profit for the Woman's Worth Project. 100% of these proceeds will be used to build a shelter for women in South Sudan which will provide support services such as childcare, legal support, rape crisis support, education, health services, and therapy. This fundraiser aims to collect enough money to get the project started, i.e. enough start-up capital to make the first jewelry purchase.
