Please join us in supporting our most deserving students through our Third-Annual “Run for UASCJ” fundraiser. On April 10th, UASCJ students, teachers, advisory board members, and friends of the school will be taking to Central Park to help raise funds for young women whose futures are fueled by your generosity. 100% of proceeds will go directly to merit- and need-based college scholarships and preparation programs. Last year, with your help, we raised over $17,000, awarded 11 scholarships to graduating seniors, and subsidized SAT classes and college visits for students. This year, we will see our third class graduate. We have a 90%+ graduation rate (the citywide average is 70%) and we have sent students to excellent colleges and universities, including Ivy League schools. There are numerous fees associated with applying to college, which make the process even more stressful as the majority of our students come from low-income and/or immigrant families. With your help, we hope to defray some of these costs. We hope we can count on your support. Every dollar helps!
