You can see my photos attached to the left. Currently I am out of shape, but the other photo was taken a few years ago. Returning to that level of fitness is my goal along with motivating as many people as possible to start a fit and healthy lifestyle!
According to the CDC about 600,000 people in the United States die of Heart Disease Every year. 30 days to Fitness wants to drastically reduce this number by encouraging more people to workout, be active, and live a healthy lifestyle. Thirty Days to Fitness is a 30 day challenge that promotes health and fitness and donates to the American Heart Association. How the challenge works: The challenge lasts for 30 days, during which time you work out everyday, with 2 days for rest. You can challenge someone else to join you during the challenge by issuing a video challenge or contacting them directly via email or phone. They can accept the challenge and join you, or decline your challenge and make a donation. They can also donate on your behalf.... For example, $1 per day for every day you workout or a flat amount if you finish the entire challenge. So get creative guys and make a great video to challenge your family, friends, or coworkers. Not only will you get in shape, you will also benefit a a great charity, The American Heart Association.
I personally have not been focused on my health and fitness. Working 8 hours a day sitting behind a desk has really added the pounds on. At the young age of 35, I was also recently told that I have high blood pressure. That was a real eye opener. I decided to start the 30 day challenge to motivate more people to be healthy and exercise every day. Not only that, but the challenge creates a support network to help you reach your goals.
Have fun and lets raise money for a great cause!
