This Star Won't Go Out (TSWGO) is thrilled to participate for the second year in CureFest! It is an honor to be a part of the birth of this national movement to highlight the needs for awareness, advocacy, research and support for childhood cancer.
TSWGO was created to honor 16-year old Esther Earl, an avid Nerdfighter and passionate Harry Potter fan, a friend of author John Green, and inspiration for his novel, The Fault in Our Stars. TSWGO has helped 200 families, giving out over $300,000 since 2011.
This Star Won't Go Out (TSWGO) is a 501(c)3 charity serving families with children diagnosed with life-threatening cancer. Caring for a seriously ill child creates tremendous stress for the family system. TSWGO supports families through financial gifts used for personal expenses like rent or utilities, with the goal of giving the family time to concentrate on their child, and not their bills.
Raising $1000 will allow us to make a difference for at least one more family <3
