Thumbs Up for Thaddeus
Organized by: Joseph Hill
Ohtahara syndrome is a neurological disorder characterized by seizures. The disorder affects newborns, usually within the first three months of life. The course of Ohtahara syndrome is severely progressive. Seizures become more frequent, accompanied by physical and mental retardation. Some children will die in infancy. Thaddeus has found the strength to live on. However, his struggle is not over. Thaddeus continues to have multiple seizures on a daily basis, and will continue to need constant care and future surgeries. These funds will be used to assist with medical expenses and ensuring that Thaddeus can stay at home with his family while continuing to the get the care that needs. Please help support Thaddeus and his family with whatever donations you can provide. I hope to present the funds to the family at the annual fundraising event in support of Thaddeus and awareness of this debilitating rare condition.
