We met Richoe Lhamo's brother, Tashi, in Kathmandu. Their parents fled Tibet when they were young and made a new home for themselves in the Jawalakhel refugee camp in Kathmandu. Their mother works in the camp's handi-craft center and Tashi works for a non-profit to put himself and his little brother through university. Now, it's Richoe's turn. She wants to get her degree in Information Technology at the Whitehouse Institute of Science & Technology. The fee is approximately $1500 per year.
