BENEFITING: NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania
EVENT: Over the Edge Scranton 2016
EVENT DATE: Jun 11, 2016
IF I RAISE A $1,000 I’LL GET TO RAPPEL 146 FEET FROM BANK TOWERS!
You are here because you know I love a challenge! To better understand why I’m participating and more about the cause, I ask you to keep reading…
I hope you will consider a contribution, no matter of the amount (type in an amount, if you don’t like the selections). Your support will help me secure a spot to go “Over the Edge” to raise funds for the NeighborWorks NEPA! It’s a great cause and a thrill of a lifetime, all of which you can be a part. Thank you for taking a peek and considering a donation!
WHY? As a born and raised Scrantonian, I believe the NEPA region has lots to offer! Living near family, fall foilage, summers at the lake and neighbors who will shovel your sidewalks, just because… are some of the reasons I love Scranton. Supporting NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania makes all the neighborhoods great places to live! It’s efforts and support by us all that makes all the difference!
CHARITY: The NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania is part of the congressionally chartered National NeighborWorks Network, which includes more than 240 independent, community-based nonprofit agencies serving more than 4,500 urban, suburban and rural communities across the United States. This network is supported by NeighborWorks America, the country's pre-eminent housing and community-development leader.
We believe in vibrant, healthy and sustainable Northeastern Pennsylvania neighborhoods and have been promoting and preserving homeownership for nearly 35 years.
WHO BENEFITS: This fundraiser benefits our elderly, disabled and disadvantaged neighbors who are struggling to keep up with or hang on to their homes.
WHEN: June 11, 2016 (The Main Event!) This new-to-NEPA event will take place during the nationally celebrated NeighborWorks Week.
WHERE: The tallest building in Scranton! That’s Bank Towers at 321 Spruce St. Yes, Scranton where Edith Bunker insisted on vacationing. Remember how old Archie asked what was in Scranton!? Bank Towers, of course, off of which charitable, adventurous people are going to rappel!
Thank you very much!
