Kaitlyn was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma at four months and went through chemotherapy, cryoblation, and removal of her right eye all before her first birthday. But she has never let the challenges of her childhood stop her from accomplishing anything she puts her mind to. She is a child full of spunk, sass, energy, and lots of love!
The hightlight of her year is the week she spends with her Camp CARE family. She looks forward to the activities, the friends, the "judgement free zone", and the all the new experiences. Her favorite part of camp is her participation in the annual "Untalent Show" where she is sure to provide the crowd with a captivating performance! :-)
Words cannot express what Camp CARE means to Kaitlyn and our family. We ask you to help us help them reach their fundraising goal. The organization is run with volunteers and by donations. If you are not familiar with Camp CARE and their work, please visit www.campcare.org.
