BENEFITING: The USO
EVENT DATE: Jul 08, 2016
Now in its 14th year, Tiki Kon is a weekend celebration of exotic tropical destinations and the Tiki bars, cocktails, art, music and fashions they inspire. We get our inspiration from the highly-stylized Polynesian-themed restaurants and lounges that were popular in the decades after World War II. It was the era of the Tiki Bar, and it was driven in large part by our GIs returning from the Pacific Theater. To honor the 75th anniversary of both the formation of the USO, and the attack on Pearl Harbor, we are contributing a portion of event proceeds to the USO and veterans groups and asking our guests and friends to join our fundraiser.
