Erik Wittreich and I met shortly after the 9/11 attacks when we enlisted in the Army to volunteer for Army Special Forces training, eventually earning our Green Berets together. After multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, we have moved on to further our educations. Erik is currently pursuing a Master's in Management as a Sloan Fellow at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, and I'm attending medical school at the Duke University School of Medicine. We have been extremely fortunate to be selected as Tillman Military Scholars by the Pat Tillman Foundation, and we can personally attest to the educational support that the Pat Tillman Foundation provides our country's veterans and their families.
Please support Erik and me as we team up for Pat's Run on April 26th to raise funds for the Pat Tillman Foundation and the Tillman Military Scholars program. Pat’s Run is the signature fundraising event for the Pat Tillman Foundation. Held annually in April at Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Stadium, the event attracts over 35,000 participants, volunteers and spectators from across the country.
The Pat Tillman Foundation is carrying forward Pat’s legacy of service to others. To date, 290 Tillman Military Scholars at 85 universities have been granted $4.6 million in scholarship support for their potential. Imagine their impact for our communities, our country and abroad. Every dollar you help us raise is not just a donation. It’s an investment in the future for veterans like Erik and me. Whether you choose to donate $25, $42, $50, or $100 - your donation is appreciated and makes a difference to the veterans and students who you support.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of this very important effort to support the service men and women like Pat who have dedicated their lives to protecting ours.
Please note, the Pat Tillman Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
