Time to help bring a soldier home
Organized by: Mary Smith
This soldier has served our country for over 25 years. On his last mission he was in Afghanistan for 15 months. While on a prior mission he learned that his wife and son were involved in an auto accident. Unfortunately his son was killed. As the time grew near for him to come home he was given a gift. He was anxious to leave and return to the United States. When he reached England he was stopped by customs and was told he would be required to pay $20,000.00 worth of taxes on he gift. When these items were given to him he was unaware that he would be taxed in England, therefore he was unprepared to pay the tax. He is being held in England until the taxes are paid. This has been going on for 9 months now. His living arrangements and financial situation is dire. He is bordering on being homeless. Please help to bring him home. He has spent a large percentage of his military career in the Middle East fighting terrorism. He wants the United States to be a safe place for all of us, and has proven it. He has been all over the Middle East fighting against all the terrorist we hear on the news. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Please pass this information onto friends, families, and co-workers. Together we can get this man home where he belongs. God Bless you all.
