For the past 6 years, I've committed myself to empowering and helping people in Zimbabwe by starting companies through Emerging Ideas. Two years ago, I also began managing the USA office to raise funds and connect people to our humanitarian and philanthropic work through Celebrate.org.
Celebrate.org has two orphanages that support over 60 kids in rural Zimbabwe. However, the way orphan care is being done has evolved and changed significantly since we opened the orphanges in the 80s.
Project Relocation is about giving these kids a new home in the city of Harare, next to our school (affiliated through ORU), and continuing to teach them practical skills that will set them up for long term success in families and in society (farming, livestock, athletics, music school, etc).
My personal goal is to raise $6,000 for the Zimbabwean orphans. And I'm committing to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with my mentor and one of my heros, Pastor Tom Deuschle and his son (my business partner), Tommy.
In lieu of my birthday this year, I'm asking that you (my friends and family) support me as I support the Zimbabwean children in need of a home.
I have already committed to covering the expense of the flights on my own. That way the majority of what I raise goes directly to Project Relocation.
Will you join me in giving these beautiful boys and girls a new home?
