Patrik Kosice's Fundraiser:

Tiny houses for homeless people

There are almost 7000 homeless people living in the city of Košice (the second largest city in Slovak Republic). They live in very poor conditions without adequate food and without health care. Alcohol, drugs and petty criminality are the most common problems that are associated with them. They have no chance to find a job in this situation. Let's help them return the human dignity! Our idea is to improve the living conditions of these persons. We want to build tiny houses for the homeless people. Houses will be built on leased municipal land (symbolic lease 1 € per year). These houses provide them a really feeling of home. Houses are made of pine wood with insulation. The roof is covered with asphalt sheets. Every house will have electric connections, lighting and electric radiator for heating. In the middle of the complex will be built building with canteen, showers and toilets. We provide one hot meal a day in cooperation with charity organizations Houses will be free for the people who fulfill simple terms of use: - not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, - they will keep order in the houses, - join to small works such as cleaning, odd jobs in the kitchen or gardening in the area. Let us help the people who really need it.
