BENEFITING: House of Meows Rescue
Tiny Tim needs his hip fixed (technically, a Femoral Head Osteotomy).
Tiny Tim (formerly Casper at the shelter) came to House of Meows in December 2015. His time was running out at the shelter, and he needed a rescue. After House of Meows tagged Tiny Tim to join our rescue, we were informed that he seemed to have some sort of leg injury. We'd already made tiny Tim a promise that we would get him out of the shelter and find him a forever home. Now, there would be one more part of that promise: fix his hip.
Our vets assessed Tiny Tim's condition and determined he needs a Femoral Head Osteotomy. It's possible that he was hit by a car, and now has a severe dislocation. The surgery will help relieve the pain and discomfort caused by his injury. Amputation is an option, but Tiny Tim's prognosis is good with the FHO Surgery, so we have opted for this procedure.
Tiny Tim also came into House of Meows very underweight and malnourished. He has spent the past six weeks getting up to the proper weight for his age so that he can undergo surgery. He'll be ready for surgery very soon!House of Meows Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 organization. All donations to House of Meows are tax deductible.
