TJ Roscoe No More Asthma Memorial Fund
Organized by: Dessa LH
Timothy "TJ Roscoe" Jessick, succumbed to severe asthma after 29 years of refusing to slow down, in his short life he not only left an impact on his family and close friends, he literally touched thousands, his positive outlook and infectious humor made everyone comfortable and never did he leave anyone feeling like they didn't belong.
Though from birth, he fought for every breath he took, TJ refused to stand still. taking to skateboarding in his teens he impressed everyone with his abilities, with offers of sponsorship he humbly refused he believed it would take the spirit away from his passion.
As TJ grew older his asthma worsened, he laid out a bucket list and with the connection of multiple friends that he had met along his way, he proceeded to travel to all the states he had wanted to see, New Mexico, Texas, California, Montana, Oregon, New York and at last Colorado, where he finally settled after meeting his beautiful Kelsey, they made a home with their cats and ferrets (affectionately refered to as their children)
Animal's and children were always drawn to TJ as he had a very gentle and selfless spirit. It was never a suprise to see neighborhood pets and children gathered around him.
his greatest wish to start his own family ended suddenly. late one night, home alone, while Kelsey worked, TJ had a severe asthma attack that led to heart failure, he died while on the phone with 911.
After half an hour of both EMTs and hospital staff attempting to revive him, it was pronounced 45 minutes after the call was made.
His last year had been spent primarily on oxygen, Asthma had taken its toll, however he never lost his sense of humor he left with never once a complaint.
TJ was and always will be a Hero, facing the enemy head on, he transcended and taught us all how to fly.
Live fast, have a good heart and do cool things ❤
