The King's College women’s volleyball team, started as a club team in 2010, is now in its second year as a varsity program competing in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA). For the Fall of 2013, The King's College Lady Lions, as well as all of our varsity teams, are the newest members of the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC).
The team got off to a slow start and was one win short of qualifying for the HVIAC Conference playoffs. But they ended strong, winning six of their last nine matches including their last four in a row. In those last six victories they won by a combined 18-0 sets. Sophomore Kelli O'Donnell was selected for the USCAA Academic All-American Team and sophomore Alexandra Rollis earned First Team All HVIAC honors. Hannah Eckart received Player of the Week recognition during the season.
They are a group of women dedicated to the team and excellence of every kind, and strive to serve the Lord in the classroom as well as on the field.
