In the U.S., many kids take school for granted. In the community of Kilgoris, Kenya, school is a privilege that students take very seriously. In 4 visits to Kilgoris, Eric and I have seen The Kilgoris Project (TKP) create classrooms and provide clean water, a hot meal, and wellness checks for over 850 kids who didn't have schools available to them; teachers dedicated to educating these kids, to raise the standard of living for them and their families; and parents making sacrifices so that a child can go to school and have more options for their future.
It takes only $2,500 to fund one TKP classroom for one year: teacher salary and benefits, enrichment programs, school equipment/supplies, and e-readers. Raising this money will give these kids a rich environment to learn and grow. Will you join me to fund a classroom this year?
