I found out about Living Water International through my church about a year and a half ago. It's a great organization that drills water wells around the world with the goal of providing clean drinking water to everyone, everywhere.
I decided to join Team Living Water and run the Go! half marathon this year to help raise money for Living Water Internation and to get in better shape. I figured I would be much more likely to stick to my workout plan with an event like the Go! to shoot for.
The event is a little over two weeks away and I'm just now putting my fundraising page together because, quite honestly, I didn't want to tell everyone I was going to do this and then find out I wasn't physically capable.
It's going to be rough. I'm still sore after training runs. My goal is to cross the finish line this year and to keep working towards next year.
Please check out Living Water International. If you feel it's as great a cause as I do then please make a donation. I will be very grateful.

We are a crazy group of runners that is running the St. Louis Half Marathon in April on behalf of Living Water International. We had great years in 2010 and 2011, and are looking forward to an even better 2012.
We appreciate any donations you could make for our team. Your donation helps support Living Water International, a great organization that provides fresh water to families in impoverished areas of the world.
