I've run one half marathon before and had a good experience, but I made a deal with myself that the next one I did would be for a cause. I just can't get this idea out of my head of running/enduring so other kids around the world don't have to endure the distance of obtaining what ends up being unclean water. I was blessed to see a clean water well drilled in 2007 in Zambia, and rejoice that more will be drilled because of this race. I know many of you are invited to my wedding in May and I don't mean to barrage you with more opportunity to spend money, so I'm asking that you'd encourage me as I train (it's hard!) and think about your part of this awesome story Living Water International is writing. My goal is $260--$20/mile, so that each mile provides clean water to one person for the rest of their lives.

We are a crazy group of runners that is running the St. Louis Half Marathon in April on behalf of Living Water International. We had great years in 2010 and 2011, and are looking forward to an even better 2012.
We appreciate any donations you could make for our team. Your donation helps support Living Water International, a great organization that provides fresh water to families in impoverished areas of the world.
