Last year, my story started like this: "I am a person who is not a runner. In fact, I am a person who is not a runner but who is running a half-marathon in April… I am a person who is not a runner but who is running a half-marathon in April in order to help provide clean drinking water to people who don’t have it."
This year, my story starts like this: "I am a person who used to not be a runner but who was transformed in 2011 and ended up completing three 5Ks, one 10K, and 2 half-marathons and is again running a half-marathon in April in order to provide clean drinking water to people who don't have it."
Each time my foot hits the ground, I think of water. All I can think about as I do this is water. Clean water. Water that helps shine a little light in the midst of a bunch of darkness. Water that helps people stay disease free… water that I take for granted (and sometimes complain about being tasteless and caffeine free). Clean, wonderful, living water. I have no idea where this is going… but I’m humbly asking you to join me. Will you consider making a donation to support my race? $1 is great, but I’d really love a gift of $10 – that’s enough for one person – one life transformed because of you and your support. Love well. Give wells.

We are a crazy group of runners that is running the St. Louis Half Marathon in April on behalf of Living Water International. We had great years in 2010 and 2011, and are looking forward to an even better 2012.
We appreciate any donations you could make for our team. Your donation helps support Living Water International, a great organization that provides fresh water to families in impoverished areas of the world.
Take a look at the Living Water International website (www.water.cc) or check out where our passion comes from at www.adventconspiracy.org. The stories posted their say it better than we can here. Please also check us out at www.facebook.com/TLWSTL to learn more about our team.
