This is my second time to be running a half-marathon but my first time running with Team Living Water (TLW). It's hard for me to imagine walking for miles to get clean water. This is a fact of life for many people everyday. Living Water International digs wells for people in Jesus' name. In the towns and villages where wells have been dug fewer people get sick, and people are coming to Christ.
I've never had to walk a long distance to get my water. When I was overseas the water wasn't clean. I had to buy water from the store down the street and carry the water to my apartment. By the time I would get to my door my arms would be on fire. One morning after a stressful night, I woke up and went into the kitchen for some water. I got water from the sink and was about to take a drink when I remembered the water wasn't clean. Thankfully I didn't have to go far the next morning for clean water.
Join me in raising money for TLW as I prepare to run a half-marathon on April 15, 2012 with a goal time of 2 hours.

We are a crazy group of runners that is running the St. Louis Half Marathon in April on behalf of Living Water International. We had great years in 2010 and 2011, and are looking forward to an even better 2012.
