BENEFITING: Courage Beyond
EVENT DATE: Oct 27, 2013
I'm running the Marine Corp Marathon October 27th in Washington D.C. in honor of my father who threw paratroopers out of his plane back in the day. He always jokes that he wasn't a very good Marine but we all know anybody willing to go fight for our Freedom is a hero. My dad was injured in Okinawa. When he came back to the States, there was little resources for injured troops. Now we have many awesome orginizations like NOT ALONE and WOUNDED WARRIOR.
It's an honor to run this race for our troops and for this organization but especially for my dad. SEMPER FI!
