to move to a part of the country that has 4 seasons
Organized by: stephen scott
Nearly two years ago I came to Midland Texas from prison. I came here to get into the oil industry. While I did not get into oil I did get back into the building trades as a metal building erector. As with the price of oil has gone down so has the infrastructure build-up. Although the price is coming back the oil industry has finally realized that they don't have the money tree any more and are down sizing as well consolidating their resources. Now it is time for me to do the same. I would like to move to a part of the country that is a bit more stable and has four seasons. I have several locations in mind and would like to got o a place that has all four seasons (spring, summer, fall and winter. All my bills are paid and current. My credit score is a zero( I have NO credit). My '94'chevy truck is paid for and running now. For the past two months I have been trying to leave but am having a hard time getting enough money together so that I can move. Working reduced hours is only paying the bill. What I would like is about 2k so that I travel to a city that can support myself, girl friend and, our two dogs. I go into work no less than 5 days a week and am on call when not at work. Still to no avail we can not get the money together to move. We would like to leave as soon as possible. We are hard a working, easy going, quite, dog loving people who have seen the light as to the oil bubble. As I said before, our bills are current, the kids (our dogs) have their shots and we all would like to go to a place can all walk barefoot in the summer and shovel snow in the winter. Thank you all for your help in our endeavor.
