Its never too late to start
Organized by: Sandylee Triolo
EVENT DATE Mar 21, 2017
I will be creating an inspirational video about continuing to work toward greater health and wellness as you age. I want to encourage women to improve their health and wellness by telling a story about competitive sprinting. The lessons learned can apply to anyone, any sport or no sport at all. The bottom line is to be engaged and active. I will post a teaser video over the next month, and a final video after Indoor Worlds in March of 2017.
I started to compete in sprinting AFTER the age of 50. I want to share what I do daily, and in the run up to Indoor Masters Worlds, so other women can see what is possible as they approach 50 or 60 or any age! My most recent goal culminated at the 2015 USATF Indoor Nationals, by winning the 60M. In March of 2017, I want to take it to the next level and go to the Masters Indoor Worlds in Daegu, South Korea.
My short video (less then five mins) will show my training, nutrition as well as the event experience from a first person viewpoint. My request for support is to help my travel expenses, my equipment needs for making the video, and my stay in South Korea. Everyone who donates will be sent a link to the video online once it is posted. Thank you for reading my request :)
