Todd Dae Kulper is the Executive Chef of Doraku as well as Qing Mu Noodle Co. which has multiple locations across the country including Atlanta, Miami, and Honolulu. He has also developed menus for Aoki Teppanyaki, one of the company's sister concepts as well as assisting in the opening of the Doraku franchise in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea; Todd was adopted at a young age to a farming family in Northeast Iowa. Growing up, he helped with the farm which consisted of dairy cattle, as well as beef and pork. While attending high school, he went to State in golf as well as developed a proficiency in mathematics and science which lead to his early graduation at the age of 16 to attend the University of Iowa where he studied physics and mathematics.
Upon leaving college, he took a job washing dishes and expediting at Red Lobster, which would have been his very first restaurant position. From there he went on to working in different concepts such as a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant in Coralville, IA, a French steakhouse in Kansas City as well as a French and Japanese fusion restaurant lead by a former sous chef from the acclaimed Charlie Trotter's in Chicago.
Most notably, Todd worked for 2 years for the acclaimed Nobu Matsuhisa at his NOBU Miami Beach location. From there he was able to work with some of the greatest chefs in the world as well as numerous celebrities as clients. This also included a brief stage at the world famous The French Laundry in Yountville, CA which is owned and operated by the chef, Thomas Keller.
As a chef, Todd is also very active philanthropist which includes assisting in raising money for the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance, Make a Wish Foundation, Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, and of course, The Eating Disorder Information Network, along with many others. While raising money for EDIN, he intends on using his knowledge of the food and restaurant industry to assist the organization in spreading awareness about eating disorders as well as overall healthy eating in general.
Neeti Mehta was born and brought up in the heart of Bollywood in Mumbai, India. An Interior Designer by profession, dance has been a constant in Neeti's life. As a child Neeti trained in Indian classical styles - Bharatnatyam and Kathak. Later, she trained in Bollywood-Jazz for several years at the Shiamak Davar Institute for the Performing Arts (SDIPA). This is where her love for Bollywood fusion grew. While practicing Interior Design, Neeti has also been on the faculty of Dance 101’s Atlanta studio for the last 3 1/2 years.
