I have participated in Tomorrow’s Hope for quite a few years and it is one of the most fulfilling events that I have ever participated in. I know that when I am raising money that it is helping friends, family and neighbors when they have a life-limiting illness such as Alzheimer’s, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke and more. I have known so many family members and friends who have beat cancer or lost their battle to it and this year I’m donating my fundraising money to Rainbow Hospice Care and the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Tomorrow’s Hope was created to raise money, and grant it locally, for the benefit of all area residents. Everyone hurts and hopes the same. We are all one in the journey of life. When a serious illness touches your life or the life of someone you love, your whole world gets turned upside down. It’s no longer ‘over there’. It’s right here, and it’s worse than any bad dream you’ve ever had, because you can’t just wish it away.
I hope you will join me in making a difference and please donate locally and support Tomorrow’s Hope.
