BENEFITING: National Kidney Foundation, Inc.
Earlier this year I lost my father who battled with Wegener's Granulomatosis. Wegener's is an uncommon autoimmune disease that mainly affects blood vessels in the nose, sinuses, ears, lungs, and kidneys, as it did with him. I was a teenager when he first lost function of his kidneys and when I was two weeks into my freshman year of college he had a kidney transplant via live donor. Over half of my life has been filled with discussions on kidney disease, causes, treatments, etc. and so, in honor of my dad I am using my birthday to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation. Please help me support this great organization.
