Toomer's for Tuscaloosa began with a group of Auburn fans and Alumni heading to Tuscaloosa following the April 27th, 2011 storms. Since then, we have provided relief to every city in Alabama touched by tornadoes since that day, to Joplin MO; Denning, Arkansas; Nashville, Tennessee- floods; Pamlico County, NC- floods, Vermont floods; Clay, Trussville, Centerpoint- January 23, 2012 Alabama tornadoes. Our goal is to help storm survivors meet their immediate survival needs by providing social media support on the ground from the disaster zone, we set up supply chains and provide logistical support for immediate needs coming in and out, and we help with special long term needs such as birthdays and Christmas for children affected by the storms. We can only help them if you help us. We live to make a difference every day in the lives of those we touch. We thank you in advance for you love and kindness.
