BENEFITING: POMONA HOPE
Pomona Hope is a community-based non-profit that mentors at-risk youth to enrich the lives of children through after school programs, visual and performing arts, internships, and community events. Through these programs, children learn to navigate their community and acquire the skills needed to support it. The Tough Sagehens are a group of students from Pomona College in Claremont, CA who, on March 25th, will run the Tough Mudder Half obstacle course in Los Angeles to raise money for Pomona Hope. This is a 5 mile course with 13 obstacles that we will have to overcome as a team. But even as we suffer through our trials of mud and wall-climbing, these youth suffer through even greater issues such as poverty, homelessness, hunger, and other tribulations many of us can only imagine. We hope that you will join us in supporting Pomona Hope, so they can continue to do good work in the city of Pomona.
