December 30, 2013 was a day that changed my life forever. I had a stroke that knocked me down but not out. I could not, walk, talk, see clearly, write or do anything many of us are used to doing every day without thought. Without the love and support of my wife, friends and family I would not have had the recovery I have had.
As much as the stroke impacted me it is nothing compared to the impact felt by those who have defended our country to protect our freedom every day. Some have lost limbs, suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other combat related injuries.
I am running the Tough Mudder in Lexington Ohio on May 7, 2016 to challenge myself and overcome my adversities. With my effort and the effort of my team, I want to raise funds to give back to those who have sacrificed so much to protect the American Dream.
I would like my team to raise $1000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. I think is a modest target and one my team can achieve with your help. Would you please join me is support of our Wounded Warriors? Even a small donation will help those who have given so much for us.
