Tour de Livingston Jersey Riders
Team Member: Bruce McCullen
EVENT DATE Oct 09, 2016
It's that time of year again and the 9th annual Tour de Livingston is coming up on October 9th, and we at Howell Rotary are looking to raise over $40,000 for the Livingston County United Way.
If you're looking for a great bike ride, this is it. The Howell Rotary Club's Tour de Livingston is a fully supported bike tour through scenic Livingston County during peak autumn colors, as well as the exclusive opportunity to ride the Milford Road Course loop at the GM Proving Grounds, visit ice cream shops in Hell, MI and the Farmers' Market in Howell, MI. The routes range from 4 miles to 100 miles, with the 65 and 100 mile routes going to Hell and back. My fellow rotarians and I will be out marking the routes with spray paint and rice papaer arrows.
If you are not able to ride, please consider making a donation. I am one of the the jersey riders and am trying to convince my soon to be 65 year old body that riding the 65 mile route is a really good idea. Any contributions would be really appreciated.
All proceeds from this event will benefit local basic needs programs addressing hunger, homelessness, children, and unemployment issues through the Livingston County United Way.
