BENEFITING: PEOPLES MUSIC SCHOOL INC
EVENT DATE: Jun 11, 2016
There's no party like a TPMS party!
We're celebrating a year of hard work and 40 years of free music education! On Saturday, June 11 all 500+ students from The People's Music School will gather at North Park University for a day-long festival featuring performances by students and faculty, outdoor games and activities, and an all-school celebration at 2pm followed by a collaborative performance with Third Coast Percussion.
Students help raise awareness and funds for TPMS by telling people in their community about their Performapaloozathon performances. They learn to advocate for a cause they care about - their outreach is measured in the number of people they tell about TPMS and their music education. (Any money raised to put toward programming is icing on the cake!)
Let's join students in spreading the word about - and advocating for - The People's Music School!
If anyone you talk to about Performapaloozathon asks how they can support the day's student performances, you can invite them to:
1 - Attend! Join us on June 11 for some of the day's performances. See details about Performapaloozathon on The People's Music School events webpage.
2 - Donate! In honor of The People's Music School's 40th birthday, donations with "40" are encouraged (but by no means required!): $40, $140, $240, etc.
3 - Spread the word! Stay up to date by signing up for our monthly newsletters, and share Performapaloozathon and TPMS with others in their world by passing this page along to others.
