The Real Adventurers Club

The Real Adventurers Club Lace 'Em Up & Laugh Tour is about to hit British Columbia and that can only mean one thing: the BMO Vancouver Half-Marathon is about to get BOSTON STRONG!

Hi! We're the Real Adventurers Club - Ryan Gaul, Mike Anastasia, Jeremy Brothers, Brian Frates, Jim Geraghty, and Norm Laviolette.

On May 5, 2013, we'll be lacing 'em up and hitting the streets of Vancouver in order to raise money for The One Fund Boston, a charitable organization launched by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino to raise money to help those families most affected by the tragic events that unfolded during the 2013 Boston Marathon.

Then, on Tuesday, May 7th at 7:30 PM, we'll be taking to the stage at the Improv Centre on Granville Island in a riotous benefit comedy performance presented in conjunction with our friends from the Vancouver TheatreSports League. All proceeds from the show will also be donated to The One Fund Boston.

It's been nearly fifteen years since the members of The Real Adventurers Club first crossed paths at the Improv Asylum comedy theater in Boston. Though our lives' journeys may have increased the miles between us, our bond with one another - as well as to the city we love - has remained steadfast over time. So, while shocked and saddened by the attack on the 2013 Boston Marathon, we were also determined - as both fast friends and proud Bostonians - to come together as a group and lend a hand in dispelling fear and rekindling hope throughout the Greater Boston community.

If you would like to help us reach our fundraising goal, you can do so by clicking the "Donate to this Fundraiser" button on the right-hand side of this page. No donation is too small and all contributions are greatly appreciated. Every dollar raised will honor those who gave their lives, support those who were grievously injured, and thank those who responded without hesitation on Monday, April 15, 20013.

Now and forever, Boston runs BRAVE... Boston runs PROUD... Boston runs STRONG.
