Every small donation counts towards this wonderful cause.
Project Sunshine is a national nonprofit organization that provides free educational, recreational, and social programs to children and families living with medical challenges. They are dedicated to bringing normalcy into the lives of children who are facing difficult circumstances. Much of what they do involves direct service in hospitals in the Greater Boston area and providing crafts that the children can complete during their stay.
The fundraiser, Train for Kids’ Sake, will be held on Saturday, October 18th from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Fishbowl. Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office in the Memorial Union Building.
The event itself will consist of each team pledging to complete a certain workout regimen, with the best individual score from each team being recorded. The idea is to complete your team’s goal, while also trying to exceed the standard to represent your team. If individuals wish to participate on their own, they may do so by pledging to do a certain workout regimen and aiming for their personal best. After the main event, bragging rights will be given to the leaders of each category.
Please help us inspire happiness among children who spend many of their days in the hospital by donating to the cause. Thank you!
