My name is Rebecca and i am 45 years old. I live in St. Louis, MO. I am in a position that is likely common and many will relate. I am in need of a car. Here is my story: i am on disability for a mental disorder..well several. Over the years I have had vehicles, jobs, apartments, and struggled to attain the stability to keep them. I am now and have been since 2009, functioning enough, thanks to the community support and meds, to keep my own apartment and pay all of my bills. There's a huge smile here. My last vehicle I owned was in 2010. The engine passed away and the van went to the junk yard for parts. I've come to realize from having a vehicle and then not having one that it makes a huge difference in the quality of life. I've overcome so many obstacles and continue everyday to count my blessings. I have a daughter in college. I want more than anything to be a productive mom for her. To accomplish as much as I can to give her pride in me. A vehicle of course opens up a lot of doors for me. Of these, one that is so important to me is to be here for her. To meet her needs in as many ways as I am able. Just the basic means to drive to see her is huge to me and to her. And of course to help with all the other needs of life is integral as well for me. Being independent is priceless. I ask for charity knowing that there are others in need as well. Those who are able to help, I seek your generosity. I am and always have been giving and ready to help others where i can. All of us need help sometimes and every need matters, large or seemingly small. Thank you for anything you can do. I truly believe you will be given back to and i will pass on generosity in my own life. Thank you for taking the time to read this. That in and of itself says a lot about you. Thank you. And have a super day.
