Moon Ho is currently a junior at Monmouth University studying Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, along with a minor in Public Relations seeking to study abroad in Australia. As an individual who has never been on a plane or out of the country, deciding to study abroad in Australia is a huge step outside of his comfort zone. Growing up in a small suburban town in New Jersey, only travelling to the tri state area, including Washington, D.C. and Virginia, he has never traveled as often as some of his peers have. As a low income college student, it was difficult for him to book a flight and hotel to go out of the country, or even the popular states like California and Florida. However, with his generous scholarship, the Educational Opportunity Fund program, it has been a possibility for him to study abroad, experience culture outside of the United States, and truly start to travel. His scholarship will cover all expenses, such as tuition and room, except for his flight and spending money. He would like to take full advantage of this opportunity, but will need additional financial assistance in doing so. His wish is to be granted a round trip flight from the New Jersey/New York area to Sydney, Australia. Moon Ho's semester abroad would commence in Spring 2017.
