BENEFITING: COMMUNITY INTERFACE SERVICES
EVENT DATE: Oct 29, 2016
Welcome to our Third Annual Virtual Walkathon! Make a difference from a distance this Halloween, virtually join a fun, costumed walk-a-thon from anywhere around the world and help Community Interface make the holidays special this year for people with disabilities! All donations will go to the 2016 Angel Gala, an annual holiday party for hundreds of people with developmental disabilities, their families, and the dedicated staff members who serve them. Community Interface's family and friends are scattered near and far and some are unable to attend the Trek ‘n’ Treat in Oceanside, CA. But everyone is invited to participate in this virtual event from their very own neck of the woods. It's simple! Just convince your friends and family to join you on a walk, a stroll, a trek-a-thon around your own neighborhood on October 29th (hopefully dressed as a ghost or a goblin) around 9 am, make a donation here to Community Interface Services, and just have fun. A lively crew will gather at the Oceanside Harbor in Oceanside, CA on October 29th from 9am - 11am but we hope to see lots of posts with photos to our Facebook Page of other Teams that Trek 'n' Treat in support of Community Interface around the rest of the world. See www.communityinterfaceservices.org/trek-n-treat for more details on the Oceanside, CA event. All are invited to join us live!
