Trek for Ashley
Organized by: Allyson Caudill
No one fights alone! We are hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu to help Ashley fight & conquer Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
We (Nicole and I) are dedicating our Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu to our dear friend and college buddy Ashley's fight against Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Ashley is 29 years old and lives in Bristol, PA. She is a graduate of Temple University (Go Owls!!) and has been working as a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant for the past 4 years in Trenton, NJ. She was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma this past March and will use all proceeds toward medical expenses.
The trek will take us 4 days and we will set out on June 25th, 2014 from Cusco, Peru and reach Machu Picchu on June 28th. Our goal is to raise $1,000 and, in order to reach that goal, we are asking each person to donate just $12.00. This is equal to 25 cents per kilometer we hike on our way to Machu Picchu (48 km in all). However, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and support a great cause. We love Ashley and we won't let her fight alone!
Of course, we will keep all our donors and supporters updated on our progress as we make this trek for Ashley!
