THE STORY:

AINSLEYSANGELS OF AMERICA wrote -

Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure Trevor can soon roll with the wind safely in a Team Hoyt Racing chair!  With your generosity, we are certain this can happen soon. As the father of two very special girls that race together with me, I know that the positive energy surrounding the start line as we prepare to be included and "roll with the wind", and the normalcy of the family, is a therapy like no other.
Here is a note from Trevor's Dad:
Trevor is 12 years old and has profound cerebral palsy. He is wheelchair bound. We started running together after being inspired by Team Hoyt. In 2010 Trevor and I were running with a special needs jogger. He loved it!  We were able to participate in a couple of local 5K races. He was very popular in the crowd. Then in early 2011 Trevor became very ill with pneumonia and spent an entire month in the pediatric ICU. Unfortunately, we never returned to running. Now he has outgrown the jogger. Returning to running is our dream for Trevor. We believe we have to live everyday to the fullest with Trevor. Running together is one of the best ways for us to share a father and son experience.  We want Trevor to once again feel the wind in his face. Trevor is nonverbal but the smile on his face when we were running spoke louder than words!
YES, YOU CAN...donate right now to ensure the thrill of rolling with the wind and crossing a road race finish line!
Click the orange button in the upper right of this page or e-mail: President@AinsleysAngels.org

Another way to help, is to spread the word of our message and efforts:
1. Visit www.AinsleysAngels.org to purchase the children’s book, Born an Angel, written by Ainsley’s then 11 year old sister and donate it to a local elementary school library! Proceeds go to the Ainsley's Angels Foundation.
