As the holiday season draws near, we begin to shift focus onto material objects and forget about the issues that plague the less fortunate abroad. I am asking friends and family to join my family and me in raising money on Halloween for the Syrian children missing out on school, on a warm meal, or from participating in special events because they find themselves torn away from their homes by war. A little change can go a long way and all we ask is that you trick-or-treat for Unicef.
