So here's the scoop: You love Boston. You love the people, the history, the resilience - maybe you even love the cold! At Trinity Boston Foundation, we love Boston too, but we’ve set our priorities on one particular asset this city has to offer: its youth. No, no, no - not its age, but its young people! The Foundation recognizes the extreme potential of youth from all corners of our city and all walks of life; our programs are designed to support and nurture that potential and to unlock opportunity and change the odds for Boston’s youth.
So on April 21, 2014, nine remarkable Team Trinity runners will join together after months of group training runs, excessive encouragement, and admirable fundraising efforts to run 26.2 miles under the flag of the Trinity Boston Foundation. All funds raised in 2013 and 2014 directly support the students who benefit from Trinity Education for Excellence Program (offering leadership development and college preparatory training), Sole Train: Boston Runs Together (which fosters community and builds confidence through the sport of running) and Trinity Boston Counseling Center (where students and their families alike benefit from spiritually-informed, trauma-sensitive therapy).
We are grateful for our Team Trinity runners – for their enthusiasm and willingness to help our students thrive, and for their commitment to one another. Please show your support by making a contribution to a team member's individual page or by giving a general donation to the team, via the donate button to the right.
Go Boston, and Go Team Trinity!
