March 15, 2012
On March 25 I’m participating in the 2012 Stoked Trishredathon. I'll be surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding in the Los Angeles area all in one day to benefit a non-profit called Stoked. I’m raising money so that Stoked can expand their action sports mentoring and after school programs at various LA area high schools. 100% of all money raised will benefit the Stoked Los Angeles program.
Here's what the day will look like:
1. Snowboarding at Snow Summit
2. Surfing in Venice
3. Skateboarding in Venice
Please consider donating to my Trishredathon campaign. My goal is to raise $250. Any amount is much appreciated as it would greatly help Stoked serve many more kids in Los Angeles.
Stoked’s mission is to promote personal development, academic achievement, and healthy living to under-served youth through action sports culture. Stoked works with underprivileged and disadvantaged kids near downtown Los Angeles. By matching these kids with inspired mentors and exposing them to action sports, Stoked helps them have more successful futures.
The students that benefit from Stoked mentoring realize amazing success. The schools Stoked works with typically have a 50% graduation rate and have both gang and drop-out issues. Stoked retains 92% of their youth from year to year, and 100% of Stoked students have graduated from high school. Operating since 2005, Stoked has successfully worked with over 2,100 kids!

There will also be a raffle with loads of sick goodies, prizes and an after-party. Fun times ahead.
