Tristan and Steff Erskine Fire Rebuilding Fund
Organized by: Teri Bayus
July 04, 2016
Tristan Valencia and Steff Garrison and her 4 year old son are victims to the Erskine Fire. In trying to save their "stuff" they moved it into a friends garage storage space.
The Mobile home they lived in was moved to avoid burning and their storage space burnt to the ground.
They lost everything they owned and have to move to Bakersfield to start a new life, as Lake Isabella now has a shortage of rentals.
We are seeking help in getting them a down payment and first months rent on a house, since they both have to start over with jobs. They are both hard working people that just want a roof over their heads, a new start with a good job.
Tristan has recently finished his 3rd semester at Cerro coso community college and was planning to transfer to BC college in the fall. Steff is a culinary wizard looking for a kitchen that would like her talents. They are a sweet couple that have supported each other and continue trying to achieve their dreams.
Help is also appreciated in the form of clothes and toys for Andrew. He wears size 5-6 and 13 shoes.
Tristan needs work clothes. Pants size 32 and Medium to Large shirts. He lost all his suits.
Steff is small or med shirt. Size 5 pants, and size 7 shoes.
I will be driving the stuff to them on Monday after we secure them a job and a house.
