BENEFITING: Little Ears Hearing Center
On the road to Ironman 70.3 Augusta!
As most of you know, both of our children, Adeline and Forrest, were born with bilateral, sensorineural hearing loss. Anna and I attribute their success to the early intervention they received from Dr. Shelley Moats as well as the endless support and care they continue to receive.
Dr. Moats' compassion and expertise has been instrumental throughout this time. Her charity, Little Ears Hearing Center is something I believe in. Strongly. Many young children diagnosed with hearing loss do not get the care they need at the time they need it most. Hearing aids are very expensive and MOST insurance plans do NOT cover this cost. There is also a lot of misinformation with respect to hearing loss. Little Ears Hearing Center provides an evidence-based approach and is devoted to maintaining a family-centered practice. Additionally, it helps families receive the support they need to manage this very hard, unexpected time in their lives.
I am training for Ironman 70.3 in Augusta, GA which includes a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. I would like you to be a member of my team. By supporting this fundraiser, you are supporting families like ours to gain the quality care, education and confidence needed to provide the best for the people that matter the most.
Help me to cross the finish line!
