The Trojans and Bruins battled it out on the field November 30, with the Bruins coming out on top for the second year in a row. Before that, though, both sides came together OFF the field for a cause: BEATING CANCER. The Rivals United for a Kure Campaign unites the USC and UCLA communities to raise money for cancer research.
Please join me in raising funds for Team USC. This is a game we can win, by raising more money for research than our Bruin counterparts. All of the net proceeds will be divided equally between the comprehensive cancer centers at USC and UCLA, through Kure It Cancer Research. Kure it was founded by my family as a nonprofit dedicated to underfunded cancer research. It is important to make a difference in the lives of people fighting this disease. As you may be aware, I've had cancer for 15 years. Research has made it possible for me to keep fighting.
Last year, we netted $300,000 in our inaugural Rivals United campaign. Click here to watch this brief video of our check presentations, and meet the four researchers supported by the Rivals United funds.
Please consider making a donation to my fundraiser. Your support at any level is appreciated. FIGHT ON!
