Our father, Albert L. "Hangman" Willis Sr. was a trucker. When he passed away unexpectedly in February 2014, we were lost. He was the main provider and the family 's backbone. So while grieving his loss, we also had to think about the future. That was a tough spot to be in and still is. But we're figuring it out and want to share what we've learned with other families of truckers that face unexpected losses. Whether it's a death, job loss, or illness we want to help others navigate through the processes. The goal is to be able to provide monetary assistance, grief counseling, and planning resource assistance where applicable to trucker families facing hard times. We want truckers and their families to have faith that they'll get through their storm.
