In 2014, T.Schreiber Theatre was pleased to announce our celebration of 45 years! Cool Right? Even Cooler, is the chance to $100,000 from the CrowdRise Holiday Giving Tree Challenge. The fundraiser (that’s us here at T.Schrieber) that raises the most wins. There is a leader board, check it out, if you don’t see us- please DONATE.
We ask you continue to support us so we can reach our goal and win the challenge. This would be a huge win for everyone. It will help to ensure we can continue producing award winning performances at affordable prices. Really Cool.
It is thanks to you that we have had over four decades of successful productions enjoyed by many, who may not have been otherwise able to afford seeing new, as well as, revival performances.
We started the season with a revival of Brian Friel’s Philadelphia, Here I Come, directed by Jake Turner. In March, there will be a month of premiers beginning with Natural Life by, Eduardo Lopez (2013 New Works Project Winner), followed by another round of “Schreiber’s Shorts: Freedom”, an evening of short plays that explore the idea of freedom. And finally in the spring Terry Schreiber, yes THE Terry Schreiber, will be directing Summer and Smoke by Tennessee Williams.
T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre has been offering actors both an artistic home in which to develop and collaborate with one another, and a place to display their artistry to the public, for nearly half a century. Many professional actors and playwrights have honed their craft in this theater and allowed the T. Schreiber stage to provide continued excellence in Off-Off Broadway theatre.
Make New York theatre accessible to all by becoming advocates for T.Schreiber Theatre. Our hope is simple-to continue to provide a space for actors and audiences to come together and experience the gift of live theatre.
