Tuberous Sclerosis Fundraiser
Organized by: Megan Swinscoe
Tuberous Sclerosis is a genetic disease that some families end up having run through the generations. I am one who has gotten this gentic disease. It is a very hard thing to live with. With having Tuberous Sclerosis you have tumors on your main organs, and some exterior ones as well, mainly located on the face, and it can cause seizures. Some may have worse cases than others. It requires medical attention from year to year. I have a more mild case than my father and grandfather but yet I've still had two seizures myself. I'm fundraising for my hospital that have cared and tended to me for 18 years. As well for the other young kids I have met that have the same gentic disease as I do. There is yet a cure for Tuberous Sclerosis but there has been a fairly new medication that had just been released for this gentic disease. On behalf of the hospital and others that have Tuberous Sclerosis please help us in funding money that will go to research for getting closer and maybe we will have a cure one day. Team Tuberous Sclerosis. Help us rise against this gentic disease. All funding will be going to Scottish Rites Hospital for children in Dallas TX. Thank you for all donations in advance. Every penny is one step closer.
